27 COFFEE ROASTERS

A roaster in Tsujido, Shonan, celebrating its 25th year in business, and a pioneer of Honduran coffee.
We work diligently under the motto "Everything is for the best cup of coffee." In 2008, we were captivated by the excellent coffee and producers of Honduras that we encountered, and started "One Container Mission," importing only specialty quality coffee in our own containers.
In 2021, we will be making a single purchase of 1,000 boxes (30 tons). We value connections between people that transcend business and borders.

Kasai personally visits the shop to purchase the beans. In 2020, he launched a crowdfunding campaign called "Import Project to Support Coffee Producers in Honduras" to help coffee farmers hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Kasai also serves as a judge at international specialty coffee competitions.

[Farm Information]
Elmelinda is a very humble woman, a member of an indigenous group called the Lenca, who started her business after her husband passed away and inherited his farm. She is in her 40s and a little ill, but her passion for coffee keeps her tending to her farm.
